The idea of the international project Step by step sprang up in the Russian State Library for Young Adults in 2010 during the first visit of Britt-Marie Ingden Ringselle and Kristiina Kolehmainen. It's aim is to create a day by day life story of Swedish and Russian libraries. So every day one photo of the particular day in a library will be posted on the Photoblog. We hope that in a year each of the participating libraries (PUNKTmedis, Serieteket, Russian State Library for Young Adults) will get a vivid image of their own and sister libraries. By the implementation of this project we hope to join IFLA Sister Libraries programme. We believe that this kind of project will help our librarians not only to establish good relations with foreign colleagues and exchange ideas and experience with them, but to be inspired to develop cultural and professional connections.

The other week, on the 13th of December we celebrated Lucia at the library. The students are going to make a podradio - read one novel of our time and talk about it. This is a famous footballplayer for the team Hammarby.
