While we firmly criticized the decision to put away Tintin books, and we don't agree that most of the books are racist (though a few of them are), we think that the debate got blown out of proportions fast. So much hate! Prejudice! Angry White Men!

Strange days at the Culture House. An ill-conceived decision to take away "Tintin" books from a youth library (due to "racist content") ignited an national debate about censorship. Serieteket was not involved in the decision but still got blamed.
